NAMIBIA GOES TURQUOISE!
Miss Biltongfees Teen, in cooperation with Lubbe Motor Group and the Hervormde Kerk Windhoek, has launched the fundraising inititiave “Getooi in Turkoois” (Go Turqoise for the Elderly) on 25 October 2016.

The aim of this campaign is to raise funds for the Senior Park Old Age Home. The money will be used for the annual Christmas Dinner to be held on 3 December 2016 for the inhabitants of the Senior Park Old Age Home in Pionierspark.
Lubbe Motor Group will sell turquoise ribbons for N$20 each to the public, to collect funds for this initiative. Ribbons will also be available at the Senior Park Old Age Home in Pionierspark, Hervormde Kerk Windhoek as well as from Miss Biltongfees winners.
With the funds raised, the Christmas dinner will be financed, as well as small presents for the Elderly in the form of food hampers to help them during the festive season.
“This campaign is part of our social responsibility and the Miss Biltongfees charity drive. It is important to care for the Elderly, especially during the Festive Season. Our senior citizens have build this country and we would like to give something back”, said Etienne Lubbe, owner of Lubbe Motor Group.
